“Just a huge shout out for the kind donations of the 76 pairs of Footy Boots & around 400 Books that HVGS passed on.

As we always have done we have sent 20 pairs and roughly 100 Childrens Books up to a remote Aboriginal Community outside Darwin where the Elder called me to say thanks. My brother is a truckie with a regular run from Sydney to Darwin and he kindly delivers for me. He tells me when he pulls up they are super humble to be given anything that I send & my brother leaves with tears in his eyes.

Michael Heitmeyer who you know as the proud leader of the Wakakulang Dancers also coaches Footy for Maitland and I always give to him at least 30 pairs as most players are from low socio-economic backgrounds and happily accept these Boots.

The rest of the Boots & Books went to our Free Brekky Club at the Noel Unicombe Hall at Woodberry and were snapped up by all who attend (the look on the children’s faces is priceless.

 HVGS has helped us with so many Kind Donations over the past years and I would be happy to address to represent these beautiful encounters.
